These mugs are beautiful but not what I would call sturdy. The yellow mug was broken when I opened the package, despite being packed well by Amazon. I returned them, and Amazon is replacing them with a new set. I love the mugs and will enjoy using them.I received my order with one of the cup handled broken off. Tried to contact to find out what to do but the process was not clear and very frustrating, I have 3 beautiful cups and had to throw away 1. The box was pretty flimsy and I think that is why it was damaged. Was really disappointed.I like the size and the blue colors.I bought mine used. The box had been dropped on its corner, so it had a huge dent there. The mugs were just fine, no cracks anywhere. They are without chips, mars, or surface flaws, bubbles etc. They haven’t chipped in my sink either. (My last 16 oz Polka Dot mugs from Amazon chipped immediately, yikes !) Mornings I drink coffee from a drip coffee maker. I use smaller 11 oz cups filled halfway so my black coffee stays hot. I use these for my evening tea that I microwave. They do not get hot in the microwave! (My huge Happy Face mugs got so hot I could barely get them out of the microwave without pot holders.). But these do stain from black tea without milk, after making multiple cups reusing the cup. If I fell asleep in my chair with a full cup of black tea, I just reheat that the following evening. So I guess you say I’m brutal on the cups in that sense. I am a 5’5” woman, I find these to be too wide around to grab with one hand without using the handle…. But that is a hand size and preference issue. I’m not deducting stars for that. My main gripe with these is thus. The outside surface is too slick. I have to do a double check every time I pick it up, do I have a secure grip, or will this slip out of my hand ? Honestly, that is too much energy to spend each time you sip from a cup ! A few months ago I bought a glassware set. Luminarc bar tools (weird name ) set of 10 glasses which also have the same problem. I just spent 4 MONTHS FIGURING OUT THE PROBLEM WITH THE LUMINARC GLASSWARE (see my reviews). So I’ve thought long and hard about this issue… These feel like someone rinsed these in conditioner or water softener, they have a smooth creamy feel. But I want/need security in my grip that I have on the glass. Actually the glass feels just like the surface on my 2021 10” IPad tablet. A smooth luxurious feel for sliding your fingers across the screen, but exactly antithesis to what I want in a coffee mug or drinking glass. I’ve compared each with my old cups and glasses. The old stuff has an sturdy grip ! They’ve changed something in the manufacturing and it really sucks. I’m a design minded person. You could design a footbridge out of the most luxurious material, but no matter how luxurious it is, if you’re worried about slipping off the bridge with each step… It’s garbage…. Same here. Luxurious feel but terrible grip is disastrous to me, antithesis of what it’s purpose is.The mugs are easy to hold and they are study. They can be used in the microwave and they are dishwasher safe.Loved the color white - matches my dish set perfectly.The size I ordered was spot on for 16 ounces.I very much like Teocera products. I bought a pie dish a year ago and it's fantastic. The coffee mug is just as brilliant too. Things I like about the coffee mug is the the thickness of the mug. Most mugs are thin and let heat escape. Not the teocera mug. You won't burn your fingers holding this mug. The handle is great! Not chunky or small. The mug isn't heavy either. Sometimes my tendenitis flares and I'm still able to hold this mug comfortably. Need to also mention the available colors and its stackability.Very disappointed that my cups arrived damaged, even though they were packaged well. What a bummer as I had a dinner Party planned and now I'll have to figure out what to replace these with.Update: The seller did reach out to me regarding my purchase. They offered to replace the set due to the broken piece or to give me a full refund for the initial product. I excepted the replacement Which arrived within 2 days and all the cups were perfect. They seller reached out several times to makes sure there was no further issues. Very much appreciated.It all arrived well packed I already made mine!
