Update after 5 months: Added a star. Really like these cups. Cork is still fine after ≈4 mwave reheats daily. If they dropped the claim of keeping coffee hot I'd give 5 stars, no problem. Two days in, Im glad I bought them. (Doubly-so bc I broke the last cup from my prior favorite set the day these arrived.) But I doubted the extent of the claims for keeping coffee hot/warm and these met my expectations. Sure, a lid of any kind helps a bit but I still have to microwave from lukewarm or room temp every 10-15 minutes just like every other cup I've ever tried (including 'thermal' ones) despite preheating all of them with hot water or not. I'll take my chances with the cork. If it comes down to my coffee or the cork, the cork idea is going to lose.The matte finish looks nice imo, and is easier to keep a grip on when you can't use the handle for some other reason. A minor downside is that it doesn't wash clean as readily as a glossy finish - it can be a bit fussy but it only takes 5-10 more seconds of attention now & then. No big deal.If the cork holds up ok & still looks ok I would buy them again.
