I have had it a month. It works good. It makes a fast cup of coffee and since I buy quality coffee it tastes great. Buy cheap coffee get cheap taste. I read the critic reviews. I don't agree. It works good and compared to another brand I bought which took 7 minutes to make a cup of coffee this one does it in under 3. The filter is simple to clean under the water tap, just dump the grounds in the trash and rinse the filter, the whole process takes a few seconds. There is no plastic taste, even at first. The lid was not designed to fit tight, it just stops backsplash. I had none of the problems described and compared to other brands I have owned this one is easier to fill. I would recommend this model as a good coffee maker.
